Competency Questions 汇总

昨天大概统计了一下，从去年到今年，我申请并进入面试的公司一共32家，进入Final面的公司总计20家，中途因为时间冲突放弃的5家，剩下是没能进入Final的。整理了一下之前的经验，我把所有Competency Question分成了四大类，每一类用同样一个案例就可以回答，节省了很多时间，不用每个都分别去准备答案。PG8即出自宝洁八大问问题，另外Self-Intro类的问题我就不在此赘述了，大家应该不用准备都可以答得差不多。

 

回答形式建议以STAR形式，比较直接，有逻辑性，很多应聘攻略都有提到，也可采用自己觉得更有条理的方式，目的是突出自己优势。

 

S – Situation 案例发生在什么情况下

 

T – Task 你的任务是什么

 

A – Action 你在其中具体做了哪些

 

R – Result 最终结果如何

 

1. Can you tell me a time when you've overcome a problem in a professional environment to reach success?

(Give me an example of a time when you used your expertise to solve a problem)

(Describe a time when you were able to come up with a new idea that became the success of some activity or project)

(Describe a creative/innovative idea that you produced which led to a significant contribution to the success of an activity or project) PG8

(Provide an example of how you acquired technical skills and converted them to practical application) PG8

 

2. Tell me about a time you have successfully led a team in the past.

(Tell us about a time when you worked with a team to tackle a problem)

(Tell me about a time when you influenced other people and why)

(Describe a situation in which you were able to use persuasion to successfully convince someone to see things your way)

(Summarize a situation where you took the initiative to get others on an important task or issue, and played a leading role to achieve the results you wanted) PG8

(Give an example of how you worked effectively with people to accomplish an important result) PG8

 

3. Describe a situation in which you effectively developed a solution to a problem by combining different perspectives or approaches. -This is a favorite, was asked in both first and second interviews

(Tell me about a time when you had to take the initiative to solve a problem)

(Describe a situation where you had seek out relevant information, define key issues, and decide on which steps to take to get the desired results) PG8

 

4. What is your greatest achievement

(Describe an instance where you set your sights on a high/demanding goal and saw it through completion) PG8

 

推荐一本我最近反复看了好几遍的书，很多人肯定都看过或听说过，Secret : Law of Attraction，里面有句很不起眼的话，我遇到困难时经常能想起: Thoughts become things ! 做任何事都是思想和行动同等重要的，而且很多事往往是在你还差10%就要实现的时候，被你放弃了，所以想好了，就去行动，不要管别人怎么说。同时也想对即将毕业的同学们说一句话，有些时候第一份工作挣多少钱，去多好的公司并不是那么重要，关键是你能从中学到足够的东西，支持你去到更好的地方，这段时间，我通过面试认识了太多刚开始工作的公司很一般，但积累了半年到一年很有价值的经验，换到了更好的平台的人，千万不要过于挑剔，就选择在家待业。 最后引用中国合伙人里一句话作为文章结束：梦想就是一种让你感到坚持就是幸福的东西！
